Pricking Thumbs Tattoo & Piercing

Artistic Heritage and Modern Tattooing in Ramsgate

Nestled on the coast of Ramsgate, Kent, Pricking Thumbs Tattoo & Piercing was established to provide an inspiring, inclusive space where distinctive body art comes to life. Our studio unites dedicated tattoo artists who bring a rich variety of styles to every appointment, whether you are seeking intricate blackwork, delicate fine-line pieces, traditional motifs, or bold, saturated colour. Every project is approached as a true creative collaboration, ensuring your original concepts are translated into lasting art that complements your anatomy beautifully.

Clinical Cleanliness and the Studio Experience

Your safety and comfort remain at the heart of our studio ethos. We maintain a sterile, clinical environment that strictly honours modern health practices, utilising single-use equipment and hospital-grade sterilisation for both tattoo sessions and piercing treatments. Stepping through our doors, you will find a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere designed to ease pre-session nerves, supported by artists who take the time to guide you through stencil alignment, scale, and placement before any needle touches the skin.

The Complete Tattoo Journey

We believe exceptional body art requires meticulous attention at every stage of the journey, from your initial idea through to final healing. During our comprehensive design consultations, we discuss composition, longevity, and skin care in detail. Our standard process guarantees clear communication:
